Terry O’Connor – Chief Executive Officer Terry O’Connor joined Darwin Port Corporation in June 2008 as General Manager Landside Operations, following a long career in the Royal Australian Navy. He has held positions within the Federal Government as a maritime specialist and with the private sector in logistics management. Terry was appointed as CEO of the Darwin Port Corporation in August 2011. |

Ian Niblock - General Manager Operations A master mariner, Ian has had a very successful career as a harbour pilot, commencing his training as an apprentice pilot in Liverpool in 1973. Time taken to gain sea-time saw him sail as a ship’s officer on various types of cargo ships including oil tankers. Ian was a pilot at the Port of Tauranga in New Zealand for eight years during which time he obtained a Graduate Diploma in Business (Port and Terminal Management) through the Australian Maritime College. Ian joined the Corporation as Habourmaster and was appointed as General Manager Operations in March 2013. |

Peter Raines - General Manager Facilities Peter has joined us after a short retirement. Peter was the joint owner of the Bank of Queensland Darwin franchise and previously the Managing Director for Sterling Property Services in the Northern Territory. Peter is the former chairman of the Cullen Bay Marine Management and has an extensive background in contract maintenance operations. As General Manager City Wharves, Peter is responsible for Marina and Retail operations, cruise facilitation and the City Wharf facilities. |

Alastair Black – Engineering Manager Alastair has been with the Corporation since 2000 and brings with him 30 years experience in construction and port engineering, gained in various parts of the world. Alastair is responsible for the implementation of repairs, maintenance and capital works programs, environmental commitments, and management of the Engineering Services section. |

Melissa Reiter – General Manager Corporate Services Melissa has held a range of positions in both the private and public sectors as a company director. She provides strategic advice and corporate services to the Chief Executive Officer, Port Management Group and Advisory Board to meet the business objectives of the Corporation. As Corporate Services Manager, Melissa has the responsibility for corporate governance, ministerial liaison, human resource management, industrial relations, records management, legal services, information communications technology and strategy and occupational health and safety. |

Anne Coulter - Chief Financial Officer Anne joined the Corporation in March 2008. She is a Chartered Accountant and had extensive experience in financial management, taxation compliance and reporting for both private and public sectors.
Anne is responsible for strategic financial management and advice, ensuring corporate accountability in accordance with the Northern Territory Government’s financial management framework. Anne manages the provision of financial and commercial services including budget development, financial reporting to management and external bodies, business services and insurance together with statutory compliance on financial and taxation matters. |

Peter Dummett - General Manager Port Development Peter joined the Royal Australian Navy in 1977 and spent a 20-year career employed in various administrative and logistics rolls. After leaving the Navy to settle in Darwin Peter worked in business development and general management in a variety of industries before moving into the logistics field. Peter has worked as a Regional Sales Manager in international shipping where he was heavily involved in promotion of trade into the Port of Darwin. More recently he joined Perkins Shipping as the Coastal Trades Manager. After the acquisition of Perkins Shipping by Toll Holdings, Peter was appointed to the role of Business Development Manager. During this time he held positions on the International Business Council and the Darwin Harbour Advisory Committee. Peter joined the Corporation as General Manager Port Development in December 2011. |

Tony O'Malley - Harbourmaster Captain O’Malley recently retired as Chief of Staff, Headquarters Northern Command and Deputy Commander Northern Command following a 32 year Naval career. He has a Masters degree in Management and Defence Studies from the University of Canberra and Graduate Diplomas from the University of New South Wales and University of Wollongong. Captain O'Malley joined the Corporation in February 2013. |

Phil Vivian - Strategic Projects Manager Phil joined the Corporation in Jan 2013 and brings a breadth of executive management and corporate governance experience in both the private and public sectors. His career has centred around financial management, governance and project management and has included several significant financial, systems and capital investment projects in the NT and interstate. Phil has Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Public Administration degrees and is a long term Territorian having arrived in the NT in the early 1960s. Phil is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of strategic projects for the DPC and is currently focused on management of the construction phase of the new Marine Supply Base project and other projects supporting the expansion of capacity at East Arm Wharf. |
